LOCATIONS - 4F
✨THE HALLWAYS

The hallways are narrow and dark, only illuminated by the candles lining the floor. You can't help but wonder if the shadows are from the flicker of the candlelight or if it's another being that always manages to escape your eye when you try to follow them.
Random portraits of strange figures hang on the walls. Perhaps they were powerful beings in another world . . . ?
But every so often, you run across a figure that is familiar to you. A face you miss. A face you wish to see again. Maybe even a portrait of yourself. It captures your attention, long enough to help you remember something you once forgotten.
Are the eyes watching you...?
✨THE MIDNIGHT GARDENS
When you step through the hallway doors, you find yourself in a beautiful garden, illuminated underneath the perpetual moonlight.

Flowers of all variety can be found here, creating a strong, floral aroma that seems to relax anyone who happens to stroll down the pathways of the garden. There's no noise outside of an occassional owl or cricket and also, the fountain that is used as the center point of the garden.
On a random lucky night, you might catch the garden illuminated by lights, leaving a romantic location for those who might want to have a cute date.

Or for the unlucky, they might get a whiff of the pollen that fills the air which leaves a variety of symptoms:
💀 Increased libido, it is pretty much uncontrollable. Whether you take care of it yourself out in the open or whether you try to get someone else to take care of it, it won't go away until something gives release.
💀 Increased bloodlust, it is pretty much uncontrollable until you draw blood from SOMEwhere.
💀 Plant monster desires go here. Maybe your character becomes a pollen monster that wants to spread it's spores or wants to pollinate other characters or eat them like a venus fly trap. Be creative!!
Deep, deep, DEEP in the garden lies a grand building. This location isn't like the cheesy drive thru chapel on the 2F. No, this is truly a spectacular building that was built to praise to the higher gods.

✨THE PLACE OF WORSHIP
Deep, deep, DEEP in the garden lies a grand building. This location isn't like the cheesy drive thru chapel on the 2F. No, this is truly a spectacular building that was built to praise to the higher gods.

The location inside is large and eerily dark with the only light coming from candles or from the moonlight shining through the glass windows. Chandeliers do hang from above, but they are much too high to light them with normal means (but for those with wings, they can find candles to light here as well). The extravagant carvings that detail the columns and ceilings are the ironic reminder of a god that demands selflessness, and yet requires that the temple of worship is created with all the riches of the world. Still, there is no denying that this place is a piece of art.
And also perhaps a strange place to want to mingle in, but there's really high quality wine that you can pilfer so maybe the visit is worth it for that reason alone. It's located in a storage room which for some reason, has blood sigils on the wall . . . huh! Wonder what that's about!
For those who linger too long, they'll find themselves falling into the virtue of chastity or the sin of depravity. Basically, one will find themselves trying to remain pure in their heart and spirit, steadfast to keep their soul remaining with god. And another? They'll find the desire to corrupt those around them.
And yes, they will find themselves the means (and abilities) (and horns) to do so.
✨CAT CAFE
Down one of the paths from the garden, you'll find yourself a quaint cafe that is ENTIRELY different from the rest of this place. Streetlights do exist near the small cottage, and it looks quite warm and friendly from the light pouring out of the windows.

The cat cafe is a kitschy, quaint little location, one that really stands out from the spooky skeleton theme. Inside it's warm with decor that reflects Bed Bath and Beyond such as brass pots hanging on the wall with lace curtains and sheep coasters for your drinks. But no one cares about the decor when there are cats around, right? This location just has several cats chilling in various corners, anywhere from window sills to little pumpkin shaped cat beds, just relaxing and having a good time, adding to the peaceful atmosphere that this cafe provides.

Everything seems nice and ordinary...
However.
The longer you stay in the cafe, the weirder you start to feel. You'll find that every so often, you feel the urge to meow at the end of your sentences. You might even notice that you've suddenly have a cat ear or tail . . . heck, if you're truly unlucky? You might temporarily become a cat. Or maybe you find that a lucky thing.
However, once you leave the cafe, all effects will wear off within the day.

✨THE GATE

Along one section is a fenced off field—the fence being twisted iron, at least six feet in height, with sharp points along the top. There's a gate at one corner of the field, which seems large enough for a vehicle to pass through... but it's locked and chained up! Oh no! Ah, but don't worry—there's a smaller metal gate off to the side, for foot travelers, that opens with a simple latch.
There's a sign nearby, but the first half of it has been torn off. All that remains is "lawn" and beneath that part, "rial gardens". A line along the very bottom reads "only fresh flowers may be left."
Once you step in (or if you use your eyes tbh) you'll see... it's a cemetery. It's foggy and overcast here always, whether it's day or night (unless a post states otherwise OK...) but you can make out various shapes in neat rows through the field. You've probably guessed what they are—headstones. The first few rows are all markers that are flush with the ground, most made of carved rock, though some are metallic. There are various names and dates on them, with epitaphs from their beloved family members. Some only have one name, with the other half of the marker left blank, as if awaiting a second person to join the first. Past the first few rows (which are all helpfully labelled A to LL) are markers that are taller, the designs on the front more elaborate. Some of them are shaped like hearts; they're so sweet to look at! Others have crosses or angels marked into the stone, with vases set next to them.
For some reason, it seems as though the flowers are always fresh.
The last row is hefty; each grave plot is closed off with its own fence, some with several headstones within, all sharing the same names—these are old families. Many of them have statues that feel as though they have piercing gazes. As you walk past, does it feel like their eyes are following you...?
At the back of the cemetery is a beautiful garden area, complete with stone benches and a gazebo. Surround this area are stone structures with engraved faceplates, more names that you don't recognize.
Two things can happen here—if you come here in the latter half of the day, paranoia will set in. Your character may even begin to hallucinate different things, and the statues in the back row of the graveyard... well. They'll start to move. They may even start to advance upon you if you linger too long. On the other hand, if you spend some time here during the earlier half of the day, you'll be able to feel at peace. Any anxieties you have can start to melt away, and you'll be certain to have a good sleep. If you bring flowers and leave them on any grave, you'll get a small buff that can be used exactly once; you can protect yourself from lethal (or nonlethal, it's up to you OOCly) harm or ghost/monster possession once! It won't reapply if you bring flowers a second time
✨FUNERAL DIRECTOR'S FUNERAL SERVICES
This building over here is labelled "Funeral Director's Funeral Services and Crematorium" ... yes, that's great and normal!

If you go inside, you'll quickly be able to figure out what this set of rooms is supposed to be; a funeral home. It seems quite empty... there's a small reception area out front with a display case full of metallic urns (EMPTY) and a desk, with comfortable seating. Off to the side is a meeting room, with a spacious table and plush chairs, tissues, and a steady supply of water to drink.
It always feels like you are not alone, here.

Beyond this is a hallway; one room branches off to display various wooden caskets, some arranged on the floor, others hung from the wall. They look very comfy, despite being uh. Coffins. If you keep going down the hallway, you'll open a door that leads right into... a dark, windowless room, surrounded in stone. There's a mobile metal table in the center of the room with shackles attached to it, and a furnace near the wall. There are some spare caskets laying against a nearby wall. This... is the crematorium. Where bodies go to get cremated. It looks like the furnace is active, endlessly; there's no way to turn it off.
Upon your first visit here, you will hear footsteps behind you, and a sharply dressed man of considerable height will approach you, introducing himself as "Funeral Director". He'll make his leave very quickly after doing this, but if you'd like to hunt him down for a chat... click here!.
There's a sign nearby that gives information on what exactly to feed the furnace. Of course, bodies (living or dead) are always acceptable, and you will gain something for your offering, but you are also free to offer up blood and body parts for something good in return... (please ping mods if your character does this/with what they are offering and we can talk about what would be a worthwhile return for your character! we might dm you or email if it's something big, since we want these to be personalized!)
Also, if you are one of those who happens to DIE A LOT this place may become quite familiar to you in the future...`

✨THATS WHERE THE SPIDERS CAME FROM
BEWARE OF SPIDERS (NO PICTURES) IN THIS LOCATION!!
Just off to the side is a craggy section of a wall, wide enough to walk through single-file, if you can ignore what seems to be bits of bone fragments littered through it. There are cobwebs everywhere and the walkway is long and continues to be narrow until the very end, where there is a cave. Those of you who are brave enough to enter the cave can come across an endless amount of spider silk, free to harvest and use; the webbing is stronger than normal and glows in the dark. It'd make for a lovely outfit, for certain, and some effects can be explored after exposure (those who carry it on their person in any way seem especially radiant.) (This counts if you walk in and get a tiny bit stuck in your hair btw).

The only sound within the cave is the steady drip of water; there's a small, equally glowing pool around your feet.
Oh, and if you go in further, there are exactly 210 little house spiders. Just chilling out. Vibing on the floor and walls. They are unkillable at all costs (they simply disappear, such quick little guys) and will not hurt you whatsoever, they just stand around, eerily... as if they are waiting for something... or someone...

...aside from how spooky this place seems, you are perfectly safe in here.
✨THE WATCHERS HOUSE
Deep in the gardens, you'll find a strange, little house, one that looks like it hasn't been visited in for quite some time. However, the lights inside are on and you can't help but feel the compulsion to go through the front door to see what's inside.
At first glance, there's nothing fancy or elegant about this place. The room you step into is a parlor that's cozy and warm with simple, soft seating for people to rest in. The pillows are nice to rest on, and the atmosphere is nice enough. There is even an area set up where you can make whatever kind of tea you wish (and the quality of the tea is good, tyvm). However, despite the cozy atmosphere, it's actually very weird.
First of all, there are mirrors on the ceiling and a few body-sized mirrors just resting against the walls especially near the seating area. No matter where you sit, there's a mirror which you're going to be looking directly at. You might also find a variety of "goodies" under the sofa if you look a little. Vibrators, buttplugs, dildos, all kinds of toys that will go great with your tea. There are cameras too for those who wish to record what they're seeing. Last but not least, it's hard to tell but you can't help but wonder if that dot on the wall is just a speck or a peephole for people to peek through from the outside, but you think you know the answer...
Beyond the parlor, in the other half of the room is a place that's even weirder. Just by walking in the room, you have the feeling that this is a den of debauchery. Or you know, if you have eyes, you can just tell. It's an open room with random holes all over the walls, places where people can place themselves through, 100% to give themselves up for others to use, but with the ability to hide their faces from those who choose to use them for special services. There are also stocks and chains for those who DO enjoy having their faces shown, but want to be kept down.
Not the type to be enticed to use these things? Unfortunately, some of the residing spirits here might borrow your body to help you enjoy it. Possession is not unheard of, and it's likely you won't escape here until you put on a show for someone even if its for the ghost itself.

✨PASTEL HALLOWEEN HOUSE
On the opposite side of the garden, there is a cute little cottage that . . . actually seems somewhat normal from the outside? It seems to have an odd purpose; when you step inside, you can see that the room is coated in plushies. Most of the plushies are "spooky" in some cute way or another, such as little zombies with hearts, or little ghosts with x__x eyes, or plushies of creatures with ghost sheets on them, but you can look and find normal ones as well. There are pink and black furniture to lounge on, couches and chairs that are unbelievably comfortable. There are sheets and blankets for extra cozy, and some of the blankets might even be heated! There are lights of course, but also candles that smell really nice for the atmosphere.
There's a wardrobe that has gothic/edgy (of any kind) (including sexy bdsm stuff) outfits in it; you are free to take one per person! This includes accessories. A vanity nearby has everything you would need to do your hair and makeup, though you can't take any out (and after using, everything always returns to brand new and perfectly clean status). There's a black bookcase with pink and purple books nearby, and while all of the stories here are spooky to some degree (bone curdling fictional horror to cutesy stories about ghosts being best friends with vampires, etc) there's also some blank books labelled "Dreamer's Diary", as if they would make for good notebooks. If you'd like to take one, whatever you write about in the notebook will influence your dreams. Aside from the diaries, books here will return the same the way as the underwater library!
A huge and ornate mirror sits on the wall, perfectly opposite where one of the comfy couches is. And guess what. There's another on the other wall. And the other wall. And also the vanity. Maybe even the back of the door—whoever designed this room just really likes mirrors.
In one corner of the room is a little counter for refreshments; hot chocolate and tea is always brewing and fresh, with various cookies and pieces of cake to enjoy while you relax.
It really does seem as though this room is here to be a comfort to you.

✨THE MIRROR OF DREAMS
For this new location, when walking through the forest or through the hallways of the 4th floor, you'll find yourself facing a body-sized mirror. There's no mistaking it, it's definitely meant to be a mirror, and yet you can't see your reflection. All you can see is a murky darkness, stars swirling amongst the other side of the glass. Well, at least, they were stars at first. The longer you stare, the more they start to look like eyes looking back at you. Be careful though, if you stare too long, you might find yourself getting trapped in the space within.

The general rule is that you'll end up in a room of some sort that will reflect your likes/dislikes/desires in some shape or form and to get out, you must perform a specific task. This has to be done with another person, you cannot be trapped alone, but you can definitely get more than two people in the room.
Some suggestions for tasks include:
- Sexual Acts
- Cannibalism
- Truth Confessions
- Discovering something you didn't know about yourself
- Maiming
- Corruption (corruption pills can be given mouth to mouth)
